The 40th Annual Meeting of the Portuguese Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology will take place, virtually, on October 21-22 2021.
This year, the Congress will be held virtually due to the global pandemic.
The main theme of the Congress will be “Dynamic Aging”, the main round table of the Congress will be on “Fragility Fractures” and will be a joint organization SPOT – SECOT.
The invited society of the Congress will be the Dutch Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (NOV) and their round table will include the following topics: Fast track surgery from the patients perspective, tranexamic acid for the prevention and management of hemorrhagic in Orthopaedic surgery and Re-evaluation of the organisation of orthopaedic care in the Netherlands instigated by the Covid-19 crisis.
All of SPOT’s structures (Affiliated Societies, Sections and Study Groups) will participate actively in this virtual Congress, and will broadcast round tables and crossfire discussions, which will make our Congress a dynamic and an interactive experience for all.
However, for all this generated expectation to materialize, the collaboration of all is essential, in this specific case with the submission of abstracts for free papers and E-Posters.
