FORTE Mentoring Session at the Swiss Orthopaedics Congress
About FORTE
We began life at the trainees session of the EFORT Congress in Lisbon 2005. At the outset, our aims are the following:
- Friendship and fellowship
- Outreach to orthopaedic surgeons (trainee and consultants), links with industry
- Reference point for Orthopaedic Training matters
- Teaching and training
- Exchange of ideas and communication
Because of the diverse training systems in Europe we have decided to work on two levels. At the top is a true Federation, where national trainee bodies subscribe. At the grass-roots level, individuals can sign up too.
